Your Support in Action: How FOA Is Fighting Online Antisemitism

FOA volunteers

Post Info

Because of you, we can build a network of advocates, all with the knowledge and tools they need to fight the ever rising tide of antisemitism on social media.

We take a pause to share something important: the real impact you have made.

Thanks to your generous support, FOA has been able to meet an unprecedented wave of online antisemitism with powerful action, smart technology, and a global, growing community of changemakers. Your donation is not a drop in the bucket—it’s fuel for everything we do.

Here’s how your contributions are being used to make a difference:

AI-Powered Monitoring & Reporting

In 2024, our AI systems scanned tens of thousands of antisemitic posts, leading to a record 25% removal rate—up from 15% the previous year. For our specially trained Trusted Flaggers, that rate hit 40%. We now monitor across 10 platforms including TikTok, Telegram, X, Facebook, and YouTube.

Training & Global Education

With your help, over 3,000 participants from five continents have joined our workshops and bootcamps in multiple languages. From New Jersey and Toronto to Berlin and São Paulo, and just yesterday in Philadelphia—we’re reaching embassies, Jewish communities, and young leaders who are now equipped to push back against hate.

Building the Next Generation

In Israel, your support enabled local programs in cities like Jerusalem, Ashdod, and Herzliya. From hackathons at Google to Muslim-Jewish dialogue at Microsoft with youth from the Abraham Accords, we’re empowering students and educators alike.

Advocacy & Reform

Your donations help us engage directly with platforms like Meta, TikTok, and X—leading to faster removals and reinstating wrongly banned pro-Israel accounts. Our team also contributes to international policy discussions, like the INACH network, and provides legal and media support to victims of online hate.

Cybersecurity & Threat Analysis

FOA is training specialist teams to detect criminal and terror-related digital threats, some of which are escalated to authorities in real time.

Publishing Reports That Matter

From our special briefings on post-October 7 antisemitism to academic partnerships and international conference participation, we’re raising awareness and setting standards.

Keeping the Lights On

Yes, some of your donation goes to the behind-the-scenes essentials: compliance, tech maintenance, team coordination, and growth. We keep things lean but effective.

And it’s worth noting: FOA is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S., and in Israel we’re recognized under Section 46 for tax-deductible donations.
