We’re proud to share news from the front lines of our work.
Last week, our founder and Executive Director, Tomer Aldubi, was invited to speak at the AJL 2025 Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden. This was a vital international gathering of researchers, educators, and activists focused on Jewish life and the fight against antisemitism, particularly among youth.
Sweden faces a serious challenge: 90% of Jewish youth have encountered antisemitism online, as hate spreads rapidly across platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Tomer presented insights from FOA’s ongoing monitoring and shared the urgency of addressing antisemitism on social media. Despite the troubling data, his message focused on actionable hope and strength.
He highlighted FOA’s role as both a digital watchdog and educator, advocating for stronger platform policies and equipping thousands of young people with tools such as education about the Holocaust and antisemitism, digital citizenship, critical thinking, and reporting. He also noted the power of FOA’s partnerships with platforms as a Trusted Flagger — a model that’s already proving effective.
Tomer closed with a call to action: we must empower youth to become upstanders, actively promoting Jewish life and challenging hate with courage and knowledge.
The message was clear: we can make a difference. With the right tools, training, and cooperation, change is not only possible — it’s already happening.
With your support, we can expand this impact. Together, we’re not just fighting hate. We’re shaping a digital space where Jewish identity is protected, respected, and celebrated.
