Today we stand with the women still held hostage by HamasISIS terrorists in Gaza. FOA has monitored so many social posts denying the atrocities and denying that these women were raped on October 7th. Those who advocated for all other women and say "believe all women" yet refuse to stand up for these women and demand for their immediate return, are simply antisemitic.

It's ironic how a commercial about standing up to hate brought upon so much hate? The @standuptojewishhate ad during the Super Bowl aimed to spread a message of unity and standing up against hate in all its forms. Unfortunately, many responses on social media, particularly X, are deeply disappointing. The commercial had nothing to do with Israel, yet people were outraged at "Zionist propaganda." This backlash is not only unfounded but also fuels the very hate we're working to combat. This is antisemitism, plain and simple. And it's unacceptable. Heed Clarence B Jones' words. It is time to stand up to silence.

The disturbing and defamatory term, "Israeled," on @Urban Dictionary is part of a rising trend in antisemitic and anti-Israel language on the platform. The last few weeks we have reached out multiple times to the Urban Dictionary team to get these hateful terms removed and to include additional monitoring on the platform, though have yet to receive a response.

Today on the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, we honor the six million lives of men, women, and children lost in the Holocaust. They were killed just for being Jewish. This day serves as a strong reminder to learn from history and prevent its repeat.

The recent October 7 massacre highlights the need for education and awareness to combat antisemitism. We must work harder to create a digital space free from hate and discrimination, especially as Holocaust survivors' numbers decline.

In a time when historical revisionism and denial are prevalent, especially online, we are dedicated to preserving the accuracy of the Holocaust narrative. Our duty is to shield against the repetition of its darkest chapters. Remembering is the first step. #WeRemember
