Nearly Two Years Protecting British-Israeli TikTok Creator Shaked From Relentless Online Abuse
In July 2026, as antisemitic harassment campaigns on social media grow more persistent and harder to contain, Fighting Online Antisemitism (FOA) is revealing one of its longest-running active cases: a nearly two-year effort to protect a young British-Israeli TikTok creator from relentless, identity-driven abuse. After extensive work, FOA can now report that Shaked is safer – with ongoing monitoring in place when new waves of hate appear.
In August 2024, FOA addressed an urgent case involving an Israeli family living in the UK. Their 16-year-old daughter, who manages a TikTok page with over 308,000 followers, had become a target of severe online harassment, bullying, and direct threats due to her Israeli and Jewish identity. As the situation escalated beyond the digital sphere and the 16-year-old was subjected to multiple physical assaults. Despite the family reaching out to local police, no significant action was taken to address the issue.
FOA gathered extensive evidence from TikTok and submitted approximately 200 links to videos, photos, and profiles through the TikTok Safety Enforcement Tool. The violations included:
- Direct threats
- Harassment and bullying
- Exploitation and abuse of a minor
- Sharing of personal information
- Creation of fake profiles designed to harm and
- humiliate
As a result of FOA’s efforts, TikTok was able to remove all content that was found to violate community guidelines.
Ongoing case management: This has since become a long-term, persistent case. For nearly two years, FOA has remained in close contact with the family. Every few months, new waves of abusive content surface, which our team continues to monitor and successfully remove.

After the initial takedowns, the parents wanted to keep the influencer’s identity a secret and not publish her details on social media. The FOA team contacted the family and explained the importance of sharing these cases as part of a process of coping and raising awareness. Shaked’s mother stated: “I’m so grateful I had FOA to help us during such challenging times. We spoke to many organizations, but the only one that actually supported us and effectively helped remove dozens of hate pages from TikTok was FOA.”
